POLOTNO SDK

License agreement

By accessing or using the Polotno SDK (“Software Development Kit”), you agree to this License Agreement (“Agreement”).
If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization.

Polotno SDK is operated by Lavrton LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company registered at:

1309 Coffeen Avenue, Ste 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA

1. Free Trial License

1.1 Grant of license

Polotno grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the SDK for evaluation, testing, and internal development during the 100-day free trial.

1.2 Allowed usage

The trial may be used for:
• Internal development
• Prototyping
• Testing
• Exploring SDK functionality

The trial may not be used for production, commercial use, or publicly accessible deployments.

1.3 Prohibited actions

During the trial period, you may not:
• Use the SDK in production or customer-facing environments
• Share, redistribute, or sublicense the SDK or trial keys
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the SDK (except where legally required for interoperability)
• Remove or obscure copyright, attribution, or ownership notices

1.4 Expiration

The free trial ends after 100 days unless Polotno extends it in writing.
After expiration, all use must stop and all copies of the SDK must be deleted.
Continued use requires a paid license.

2. Paid License

2.1 Grant of license

Upon purchasing a subscription plan, Polotno grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the SDK according to your selected plan and its limits (usage quotas, domains, environments, and API calls).

This Agreement does not grant access to the Polotno SDK source code.
Source code access requires a separate written Source Code License Agreement.

2.2 Scope of use

Licenses are:
• subscription-based,
• time-limited, and
• valid only while all payments remain current.

Each subscription license covers one commercial Application under one brand family.
Additional Applications, product lines, or brand families require separate licenses, regardless of domain count.

2.3 Restrictions

You may not:
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the SDK
• Provide the SDK or internal APIs to unlicensed third parties
• Use the SDK to build or assist a competing editor, SDK, or design platform
• Exceed plan limits without upgrading or written approval
• Bypass technical limitations or license verification systems

2.4 Termination

Polotno may suspend or terminate access if:
• Payments lapse
• Plan limits are materially exceeded
• You violate any term of this Agreement

Upon termination, the license ends immediately and all SDK use must stop.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Polotno ownership

Polotno retains all rights, title, and interest in and to:
• the SDK
• its source code
• documentation
• interfaces
• updates and improvements

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

3.2 Customer application ownership

You retain ownership of:
• your application code built on top of the SDK
• your backend and integrations
• all business logic, workflows, and configurations

Polotno acquires no rights to your application.

3.3 User-generated content

All content created by your end users within your application is owned by you or your users, not Polotno.
Polotno does not claim copyright to user-generated images, text, or designs.

3.4 Feedback

Any suggestions or improvements you submit may be used by Polotno without obligation.
You assign any rights in such feedback to Polotno.

3.5 Third-party content and asset providers

The SDK includes built-in integrations that allow end users to access third-party content such as:
• Google Fonts
• Unsplash
• The Noun Project
• Other icon, photo, or font providers

These features operate through Polotno-managed endpoints that retrieve content from the respective providers under their own licensing terms.

This Agreement does not grant you any ownership, sublicensing rights, or independent usage rights to any third-party content accessed through these integrations. You may only use such content as displayed within the SDK, and solely within your implementation of the SDK.

If your implementation requires guaranteed availability, higher usage limits, or commercial rights to such content, you must obtain your own API keys or licenses from the respective providers.
